Understand how SBI mobile banking works

SBI Mobile Banking

Largest Indian bank SBI provides a very high class functionality for low end mobile phones known as SBI mobile banking, using this feature you can use lots of banking facility by simply using your low cost mobile phones. So if you are a part of SBI Community you are only few steps away from activating your SBI mobile banking facility. One thing i also want to mention that using this mobile banking facility you can also recharge your DTH Service and mobile phones just by sending a message. SBI mobile banking needs a mpin and mmid from user side to allow user to do these transactions. Here i am describing how to get mpin and mmid for your bank account and the keyword using which you can do transaction from your mobile phones..

NOTE: You can only use SBI mobile banking on a mobile number which is registered with your account, so if you are not registered your mobile number with your account yet, then go to SBI and register your mobile number...
Step 1:  Getting your mpin
This step is only for first time because it gives you mpin.
Types a message <MBSREG> without brackets and send it to 9223440000. After some time you will get a reply with your userid and mpin.
Step 2:  Changing your mpin
syntax:     <SACCEPT><USERID><OLD MPIN><NEW MPIN> and send it to 9223440000..
ex:              SACCEPT abc123 123456 111111
Step 3:   Accepting term and conditions
syntax:     <SACCEPT><USERID><NEW MPIN> and send it to 9223440000..
ex:              SACCEPT abc123 111111
Now these steps tells you how to do transactions using SBI mobile banking..
Getting Balance of account:
syntax:    <Sbal><userid><mpin>and send it to 9223440000..
ex:           sbal abc123 111111

ex:           smin abc123 111111
Mobile top-ups:

syntax:    <Stopup><userid><mpin><telecome operator of benificiary mobile><mob no of beneficiary mobile><amount>and send it to 9223440000..
ex:           stopup abc123 111111 AIRTEL 9898989898 100

ex:           imps 9898989898 900074 1000 abc123 111111
for imps fund transfer you need to know the mmid of beneficiary person so if you want to get your mmid go to your bank and apply
