National Registry Skill

National registry skill is a system of providing certification of IT skills to IT professionals which gives reliability to companies and overseas client that the person they are hiring has a legitimate identity, and it provides them the feeling of security.

NSR is an initiative taken by NASSCOM. NASSCOM is the trade association of all the IT/ITes/ BPO companies india. NASSCOM has taken a up a significant initiative called "Trusted sourcing". This initiative aims to develop and project the industry as a safe and Trusted destination for sourcing, development, outsourcing and process work so that overseas client develop confidence with the safety to our industry and assign more work

How National registry skill works:

1. To create a NSR profile you must check out the needs at NSR and then go the registration page.

2. you have to pay Rs. 300 for registration and a yearly amount of Rs. 50. (you have to pay this every year)

3. Assigning your finger print in NSR database.

Advantages of using National registry skill (NSR):

At present there are 104 top leading IT companies like Infosys, Accenture, TCS and many more are using NSR for their employees and 9.4 (as of July 2011) lacs of IT employees are already created their NSR certification.

So whether you are a Final year graduate or a present employee in any IT firm you need an NSR certification so get ready and get the certification.
